We would like to introduce a painting example of a design desk made from a magnificent piece of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood. The hinoki board is carefully painted layer by layer, filling in even the smallest grooves with resin. In the end, a color enhancement was applied to give it a sense of weightiness. The legs also have a unique touch; while they appear to be finished in matte black, the underlying layer is actually different, revealing itself over time and marking the passage of years with history. Even after completion, it can be enjoyed and used. The painting adds new added value. The painting expands possibilities. The design desk was created based on the design by Saturday Factory.
